Nick Harris
has been a pastor for 50 years. His passion is to bring God’s principles in Scripture to bear on the primary relationships of life. He and his wife, Carol, have been married for 48 years and have three grown children and ten grandchildren. He has served churches in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Texas. He retired in 2010 after 28 years as senior pastor of the Ovilla Road Baptist Church, in Ovilla, TX.
He is a graduate of Union University, in Jackson, TN; Southwestern Baptist Seminary, in Ft. Worth, TX, and did graduate work at Mid-America Seminary, in Memphis, TN. He has conducted numerous seminars and family conferences throughout several states. He has a practical, humorous, and Biblical approach to difficult issues. He loves children, and teenagers and relates very well to people of all ages.
It has been my privilege to know and walk with Nick Harris for many years. During that time he has conducted numerous Family Life Conferences in the congregations I have pastored. His grasp of biblical truth and principal is unparalleled and his transparency and ability to communicate these truths will endear him to the hearts of all that sit under his ministry. His investment into the lives of my own family has reaped a life time of benefit and I count him as one my dearest friends.
